For those of you that don't know, Poniverse Public Relations is the team that makes sure the whole world knows about Poniverse! From managing all of Poniverse's social media to producing the Poniverse Newsletter, the PR staff works diligently to let everypony know about the best MLP communities on the internet!

And the PR team is looking to expand! We're currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• Designer: Poniverse Designers focus on just that: the visual design of Poniverse. From creating advertisements to carefully crafting the visual appeal of our sites to best represent our brand, designers are masters of colors and layouts. If making Poniverse look pretty sounds awesome, this is the job for you! Interested applicants should include examples of their past design work with their application.
• Staff Artist: A staff artist's job with Poniverse PR is to create artwork for a wide variety of Poniverse projects. Job will include things such as drawing images of the mascots for promotional purposes and social media. If you love to draw, this job is for you! If interested, please include examples of artwork, such as a link to a dA gallery, that are representative of the work quality you would be providing to Poniverse.
• Facebook Representative: As a social media liaison, you'll be responsible for posting content to Poniverse's Facebook pages. Social media liaisons are expected to take initiative in boosting Poniverse's reach and appeal on social media. If you love Facebook and want to help the community grow, this is the job for you!  Applicants will be asked to provide a sample post for our Facebook page.
• Staff Writer: As Poniverse's Staff Writer, you'll be the guy writing things like this post so that it sounds really good! Have you been rolling your eyes at the repetitive style of this post?  Did you notice a certain typo in the name of everypony's favorite mascot? Think you could spice up a seemingly mundane announcement? If so, this is the jo... uh, position for you! Be sure to include a sample Q&A announcement with your application!
• Newsletter Writer (Pony.fm): Like writing, but want something a bit different than press releases?  We're also looking for a new writer for our Newsletter staff! This position will be focused on writing articles pertaining to fan-art on Poniverse, especially features about Pony.fm artists. Anybody who loves writing and listening to music would be an ideal applicant. Applicants must include a sample newsletter article featuring a Pony.fm artist with their application.
• Other: Have a unique idea for how you could help Public Relations? We're all ears! If you have something unique to offer that we haven't thought of, let us know your idea!

Positions will be filled as qualified applicants are found, so it is highly recommended that you apply early. Applications will remain open until all positions are filled which we anticipate happening within the month.

Some notes to keep in mind with all positions on Poniverse PR:

• All PR staff must be willing to use Skype text chat regularly. This is where nearly all of the work related discussion on PR happens. Voice/Video chat are rarely used and will never be required, but you must be willing to actively participate in Skype discussions via text.
• PR works in events and announcements regularly that require sensitive timing, and as a result there is information you will learn in this position that you will not be able to reveal to others. All PR staff will be expected to maintain discretion.
• PR staff is Poniverse's front line in representing our network to the rest of the fandom. As a result, while silliness is a big part of the job, all PR staff are expected to act professionally and take care in how they represent Poniverse.
